1. Respect other players and Game Masters
Behind the graphics in Ragnarok, there are living and breathing persons.
They're like you and they have feelings. So respect them and talk to them as you want others to talk to you. Don't cuss or swear publicly or at other people. Some players are young children, or teenagers. So please, treat others as you would like to be treated. Sexual slander, racist comments are also not tolerated.
Never lie to the GM's. If you lie to a GM and we find out, you won't play here ever again. If you accuse a GM of cheating on thier legits, this is GM disrespect. If you believe a GM might have cheated and have a good reason to report them, contact Euphorian directly, do not spread rumours about them!
Punishment for harrassing/insulting a player is 2 to 5 days ban depending on how severe. Second offence is 10 days ban. Third offence is a permanent ban.
2. Do not kill steal (KS)
Kill stealing means attacking a monster that is already being hit or targeted by someone else, or attacking a monster that is already hitting or targeting someone else.You can ask to help them if you think they're in trouble, but do not hit the monster unless they asked you to do so, else you will be punished. MvP monsters are an exception, because they are FFA (Free-For-All). If you KS by accident, apologise to the player and they will in most cases forget about it.
Punishment for kill stealing is 2 days ban. Second offence is 10 days ban and third offence is a permanent ban.
3. Do not use Bots
Botting is not allowed. We do not tolerate it whatsoever. Play fair! Be an honest player like everyone else. Do not pretend to be a bot or knowingly act bot-like. If you recieve a ban for being a bot this way, you will not have your character restored.
Punishment for botting is permanent ban on all accounts matching your IP, along with an IP ban. If you are a netcafe user, there may be some exceptions.
4. Do not hack or exploit
This includes duplicating items or zeny, or exploiting bugs in the game. If you find a bug, please report it on the forums. Do not abuse the bug or you will be punished.
Punishment for hacking/exploiting is permanent ban on all accounts matching your IP, along with an IP ban. If you are a netcafe user, there may be some exceptions.
5. Do not beg
Please do not beg other players for money and items. Even if you are a novice, everyone started as one and they all got through it. You will earn money and find items if you keep hunting for items and sell them. Be patient, and never beg a GM for items or zeny.
Punishment for begging is a 2 days ban. A second offence is a 10 days ban, and a third offence is a permanent ban.
6. Do not scam or cheat other players
Scamming is intolerable. Do not offer overcharge/discount and run away with somebody's money. Do not trick people by selling them a "slotted" item that really isn't. Do NOT try to get other players to give you their account information.
Punishment for scamming is 7 days ban. Second offence may be permanent ban.
7. Do not lure monsters
Do not lure monsters onto other players then teleport away, go through a warp or log out. If you are about to die, do not put people in danger and fight the monster(s) until death.
Punishment for luring/mob training is a 2 days ban. A second offence is a 10 days ban, and a third offence is a permanent ban.
8. No chats and vendings on Prontera streets
Do not make a chat or vending on the streets of Prontera. Use the sidewalks for that, so everyone can walk in Prontera without accidentally clicking on 35 shops/chats. This includes half squares, if part of your sprite is on the street, you put yourself at risk of being banned. Do not purposefully place your shop on the same square as another vendor with the intention of "keeping your favourite spot" or preventing the other vendor from having their shop viewed.
Punishment for chat/vends on the street is a 3 days ban.
9. Do not spam
Do not spam sentences repeatedly. Also do not spam skills (any skills) in towns. If you are forging/brewing with a gloria priest, please move to an unpopulated area.
Punishment for spamming is a 2 days ban. Second offence is a 10 days ban and third offence is a permanent ban.
10. Do not deal opponents in War of Emperium
Do not make unrequested deals to players while inside a castle. Not having /notrade on is not an excuse for avoiding a punishment. If you trade someone unintentionally, apologise and they will usually forget about it.
Punishment for dealing in War of Emperium is a 2 days ban. Second offence is a 10 days ban and third offence is a permanent ban.
11. Do not advertise other servers
RenegadeRO players enjoy their server and do not care for other servers. Trying to take them away is not tolerated. This rule also works the other way around: Do not advertise RenegadeRO on other servers.
Punishment for advertising is a permanent ban and an IP ban.
